Nick Young is a Missouri Licensed Tattooist & Body Piercer and the creator of the Learn to Ink tattoo apprenticeship program. With over a decade of professional experience in the Kansas City tattoo industry, Nick has built a reputation for mentoring new artists and helping them transition from passionate illustrators into licensed professionals.

Nick developed the Learn to Ink curriculum to align with the Missouri Office of Tattooing, Body Piercing & Branding requirements, combining structured education with real studio procedure experience. Students train inside New You Tattoo in Kansas City, where they learn professional standards in sanitation, client interaction, tattoo design, and machine fundamentals.

Nick’s goal is simple: help the next generation of artists build real careers in tattooing while maintaining the professionalism, safety, and artistic integrity that the craft deserves.
